TAFA: The Textile and Fiber Art List

The TAFA List is an online membership organization of professionals working with handmade textiles and fiber art. TAFA has over 600 members from 44 countries. The site launched in 2010 with the goal of providing support and technical assistance to the business side of what we do. At that time, social media was just starting to take off online and over the years, we have helped each other navigate what can often be a daunting experience.

TAFA has a lifetime membership of $125 with member sponsors who elect to support the site financially.

A majority of our members have social and environmental agendas at the core of their business. TAFA’s members have a shared goal of building their businesses through virtual and actual marketplaces in an increasingly global world. TAFA unites old and new traditions, their historical and modern importance, giving a shared platform to both contemporary and traditional textile techniques from all cultures.”
