Clairan’s image is her final piece for the mosaic. It’s beautiful! Check out the cool fabric that came wrapped around it. A mosaic pattern!
My Torn Things series begun in 2015, is inspired by Tibetan Prayer Flags and Japanese and Native Prayer Trees. It sends my prayers and incantations out to preserve things and issues important to me. I grew up in view of the magnificent Hudson River, and I live near Lake Michigan, whose beauty awes and inspires. Water, they say, is the new oil. We must preserve it. I do what I can.
